2012/2013 Finalists for the Outstanding Student Award

Each year, the Monmouth University Student Government Association is proud to announce the names of finalists for Outstanding Student. A long list of nominees are selected by the members of the SGA during the spring semester. Each of the nominees are then invited to submit a resume and personal statement to the selection committee. In the end, four finalists are selected from what is always a very competitive and talented group of nominees. During the weeks leading up to Commencement, Monmouth University's faculty, administration, and staff will be invited to vote for the nominee who they feel has left their mark by affecting the University through his or her efforts. The winner is then invited to sit on the stage at Commencement with the Platform Party and is asked to provide the graduates with some brief remarks. The finalists for 2012/2013 are listed in alphabetical order below:
