Student Outcomes
Each Filmmaking and Cinema Studies major is paired with a working professional in their senior year. Through this, you will learn hands-on the full filmmaking process including screenwriting, development, production, editing, post-production, VFX, and more from working professionals whose Oscar-winning work has been seen on Netflix, Disney, Cannes Film Festival, Berlin Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival and more. Connecting you to the professional field, you will gain the knowledge and skills to enter the industry to create your own independent films.
Undergraduate Research & Internships
Start making your own films form the day you set foot on campus. The student-run Monmouth University Film Club provides on-going opportunities to create original projects under the tutelage of innovative working filmmakers and industry professionals.
