Hello! My name is Jesse and I am am a junior majoring in Biology with a concentration in Molecular Cell Physiology with a minor in Statistics. I am enrolled in the Honors School and planing to construct my thesis around my research on genetics of environmental adaptation. I am involved on campus as TriBeta Secretary, and a member of Phi Eta Sigma and Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Societies. I also served on Student Government Association for two years where I organized the Big Event, a day of volunteering on campus. Aside from involvement, I hold two jobs on campus as an Office Assistant in the School of Science Deans Office and a Vivarium Technician. In my free time, I enjoy kayaking and spending time with my family. I’m really looking forward to being apart of the Supplemental Instruction program and helping students succeed in Microbiology!
