Monmouth University sponsors a Voluntary Long Term Care Insurance Plan for eligible active employees and their eligible family members through Genworth Insurance Company. Eligible employees under the age of 65 who enroll within the first 30 days of employment will be guaranteed acceptance into the program regardless of their health status. Enrollment after the first 30 days of employment or for eligible employees more than 65 years of age, and/or applications of eligible relatives will require evidence of insurability.
This benefit is available to all actively at work, full-time faculty, staff, and administrators, or actively at work part-time staff and administrators regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours each week. Eligible relatives include spouse, children, parents, parents-in-law, grandparents and grandparents-in-law of eligible active employees. Benefits approved for employees and spouses/domestic partners of employees will be payable through payroll deduction. Other eligible relatives enrolling in this benefit will be directly billed, or can enroll in automatic deduction from an approved bank account.
You can tailor your benefit plan to meet your individual needs by choosing a monthly benefit that ranges from $1,500 per month to $6,000 per month.
