Among U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges for 2021, Monmouth University ranks as one of the top five private, non-denominational, Division I schools for student access and academic excellence. The Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music
Provides scholars, fans, filmmakers, and curators from around the world access to the largest official collection of the New Jersey rock legend’s written works, photographs, periodicals, and artifacts—featuring over 35,000 items from 47 countries.

In partnership with ESPN, Monmouth students get hands-on experience that prepares them for postgraduate careers in professional broadcasting with sports industry leaders like the NBA, the WWE, Sports Center, and ESPN. The production program works in tandem with the Department of Communication, which boasts a popular sports communication minor with emphasizes on radio, journalism and public relations skills.
One of a handful of women who are changing the face of football, Lewin got her start as a student assistant for Monmouth’s Division I football program. Since then, she has continued to break barriers and was recently hired by Princeton University as an offensive quality control coach.

Our alumni change the landscape of local health care and pave the way for Monmouth students to earn leadership roles in an increasingly complex landscape of medical advances, regulatory changes, and a greater reliance on technology. One couple, and Janice Marchetti ‘85, are among the pioneering group behind the Jersey Shore Medical Center, and have helped open doors to more opportunities that address the many health care challenges facing our nation.

Graduate Makes Waves in School of Science
Currently pursuing his Ph.D. on the West Coast, Pete Chace ’15 got his start in scientific research through Monmouth’s School of Science Summer Research Program. His project highlights as an undergraduate include long-term plankton studies in Barnegat Bay, researching in Seattle for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Earth-Oceans Interactions Group, and a presentation in Spain on coral reefs.
