    Marta Dochniak Neumann, PhD, Marta Dochniak Neumann, PhD, was born and raised in Poland where she began her career in physical education and fitness. Marta continued to teach and promote physical activity in her native country for nearly 15 years. She earned both her Master's and Doctorate degrees in physical education from the Academy of Physical Education, Wroclaw, Poland where she also lectured and conducted research programs   concerning pedagogical aspects of "education for leisure." After moving to the United States,  Dr. Neumann was dually appointed as an exercise physiologist and adjunct professor in the Athletics Department and Fitness Center at Monmouth University, West Long, Branch, New Jersey, with responsibilities of teaching physical education courses and creating and implementing university-wide wellness and fitness programs among students, employees, and community residents. At the present time, Marta Dochniak Neumann is a lecturer in the Department of Health and Physical Education at Monmouth University where she teaches undergraduate courses such as: Exercise Physiology, Wellness and Fitness, Strategies for Healthy Living, Yoga, Pilates, and Weight Training. In addition, she coordinates the Department's physical education program and is actively involved in curriculum development for the Health and Physical Education major. Dr. Marta Dochniak Neumann holds teaching credentials in K-12 Physical Education and is an ACE-Certified Advanced Health and Fitness Specialist and Personal Trainer specialized in senior fitness. Specialty areas: Physical education, physical fitness, and wellness. HFS - Certified as an Advanced Health and Fitness Specialist by the American Council on Exercise.

    Julie Schaaff, M.S., Julie Schaaff, MS, was the Corporate Health Coordinator, Community Fitness Coordinator, and Employee Wellness Coordinator for the CentraState Healthcare System from 1991-2002. While there, she developed the "Wellness Olympics" employee wellness program, which received a NOVA award for innovation. From 2002 through 2012, Julie owned "Reach Yoga Health and Fitness," a yoga studio located in West Long Branch, NJ, which was honored by the Asbury Park Press as one of the best yoga studios in Monmouth County in 2009 and 2010.Julie began teaching PE 128 (yoga) and PE 142 (Pilates) at Monmouth, as an adjunct faculty member in 2006. She created the PE 144 Tai Chi class and became a full-time faculty member in the fall of 2011.

    Janet Mahoney, Ph.D., RN, APN-C, NEA-BC,   Dean Mahoney started her nursing career at St. Mary Hospital School of Nursing in Hoboken, NJ.  Worked in Obstetrics, Critical Care, Medical/Surgical and Certified as an Emergency Nurse. Currently certified as a Nurse Executive Advanced and Advanced Practice Nurse. An alumna of Monmouth “College” University in 1987. Joined Monmouth as a faculty member in 1995, Director (1998), Associate Dean (2004), and Dean (2009). With Faculty and Administrative support, led the efforts to establish the first doctoral program at MU. Co-Director of the RWJF NJNI grant to develop future nursing faculty. Instrumental in expanding the Department of Health and Physical Education. Privileged to teach students. Strives for interprofession collaboration among health professionals to serve the healthcare needs of society.

    Colleen Manzetti, DNP, RN, CNE, Dr. Colleen Manzetti is an assistant professor at Monmouth University, School of Nursing & Health Studies. Previously she was the Interim Dean for the School of Nursing at Ocean County College. Dr. Manzetti received a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Sanford University, Alabama in June 2011. Her doctoral research focused on the value of collaboration in nursing education; sharing simulation resources. She is alumni from Monmouth University receiving a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in May 2008.In 2008 Dr. Manzetti received her certification by the National League for Nursing as a certified nurse educator (CNE). Dr. Manzetti has extensive experience working for Fortune 500 insurance companies as a managed care expert. She currently acts as a consultant to attorneys and insurance companies focusing on life care planning for individuals with catastrophic injuries and illnesses. Dr. Manzetti also serves as an expert witness on these topics in multiple states.
