Dr. Erica Sciarra is a Specialist Professor at Monmouth University, School of Nursing and Health Studies.  She has over a decade of teaching experience teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level. Dr Sciarra earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Rutgers University in 2011.  Her doctoral research focused on impacting Registered Nurses practice through the use of evidence-based education. 

Dr. Sciarra earned certification from the National League for Nursing as a certified nurse educator (CNE) in 2014.  She is also an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
