Internal Scholarships
The Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association is established at Monmouth University to support undergraduate students of financial need who are pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. This scholarship is intended to provide one-time financial assistance to students pursuing studies and extracurricular activities related to public relations and advertising.
The Dr. Kenneth E. and Ilamae R. Knapp Scholarships recognize outstanding students in the communication department who demonstrate excellence in oral performance, leadership in and beyond the classroom, and significant academic achievement.
The Richard Corliss Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in Communication with an emphasis on film.
The Raymond Michelli Sports Scholarship Award is given to a Department of Communication major with an interest in sports announcing.

New York Market Radio Scholarship Fund provides assistance for the education of students pursuing a career in radio.
Charles and Lucille King Family Foundation Scholarships awarded to students studying television and/or film.
Radio Television Digital News Association Scholarships open to student pursuing careers in radio, television, or digital journalism.
National Association of Hispanic Journalist Scholarships available for students pursuing careers in English and Hispanic-language print, broadcast, digital, or photojournalism.
National Association of Black Journalist Scholarships for students pursuing careers in Journalism.
New York Women in Communications offers scholarships to female student pursuing any Communication-based career.
Alliance for Women in Media Scholarships recognize women with financial scholarships in pursuits of careers in the media.
Alliance for Women in Media Foundation in partnership with ESPN offers Black women scholarships to assist in their pursuits for careers in sports media.
The Association of LGBTQ Journalists offers scholarship to students pursuing careers in Journalism.
