The Director of Campus Equity and Employee Relations provides training to the University community, including staff, faculty, and students.
Workshops and seminars are interactive, providing participants with opportunities to engage in discussion and activities that challenge existing perspectives while understanding those that differ.

Harassment and Discrimination Prevention Training
All employees of Monmouth University are required to complete a self-paced harassment and discrimination training program entitled “Mosaic: Preventing Discrimination and Harassment Together.” This program instructs the employee on the various aspects of harassment and discrimination in the workplace.
This online session focuses on the prevention of harassment and discrimination in the workplace and uses case studies to highlight what is and is not harassment and discrimination.

Search Committee Training–This session explores the best practices in reviewing applicants’ materials and conducting interviews for open postions. This session will also address navigation of the Monmouth University, UKG Recruit system.
Sexual Misconduct Workshops
Online Sexual Misconduct Training–In an effort to create and maintain a safe campus community, all incoming first year students are required to complete an online sexual misconduct training program titled SPARC. This interactive program provides information concerning all aspects of sexual misconduct including but not limited to the University’s sexual misconduct policy, available options and resources, as well as bystander intervention techniques. The program also discusses healthy versus unhealthy relationships, dating violence and a host of related topics. SPARC is available to the entire University community.
In-person Sexual Misconduct Training–The Title IX Coordinator, in conjunction with the Office of Student Life, offers discussions on the topic of sexual misconduct prevention with various individuals, groups, and organizations on campus including but not limited to the following:

- International Student Orientation
- First Year Seminar Classes
- Athletics
- Greek Life
- Faculty and staff
- Clubs and Organizations
- Class presentations
