I am excited to serve as the interim dean of the School of Science and look forward to leading the school through this transitional period. Our mission is to create lifelong learners who will be informed and responsible citizens as well as leaders in their communities and beyond. This begins with the hallmark of the school, the faculty and staff, who are not only dedicated to delivering a top-notch curriculum, but are well-respected experts and scholars in a wide variety of fields. We utilize modern labs and technology, take advantage of our unique location and resources (such as our three research vessels, NMRI machine and a cybersecurity lab) and leverage our close relationship with the Urban Coast Institute to foster learning through experience.
