Professor Pang kicked off our annual Pi Day Celebration with an engaging talk titled “Why Do Colleges Close? Using Data, Prediction and the Box-Cox Transformation.” Following the presentation, students and faculty gathered in the Math Learning Center to enjoy Pi Day games, prizes, and, of course, plenty of pie. The event was a fun opportunity to celebrate mathematics and connect with fellow students and faculty.
