About us
Pre-Health Advising at Monmouth University guides Monmouth University students interested in careers in the health professions beginning in freshman year up to and including senior year, through the application cycle (which is typically spring of junior year) all the way to an acceptance into a health professional school or graduate program.
Careers in medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, physician assistant and in many other allied health professions are included within the scope of the office of pre-professional health advising services (PPHAS). We work closely with the Center for Student Success (CSS) and the First Year Advising Office, to prepare students for a future career in the health professions beginning upon entrance to the University. The office utilizes a committee of different expertise from across the campus. Drs. Dottie Lobo and Jonathan Ouellet from the School of Science are joined by Specialist Prof. Stephanie Lynch. Donna Volpetti is the administrative support for the office.
