Megha Majumdar is a national bestselling author, 2026 Guggenheim fellow, winner of the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence, finalst for the National Book Award. Her book, “A Guardian and a Thief”, became an Oprah’s Book Club pick and served as the reading for the New York Public Library/WNYC’s Get Lit Book Club.

Native American Boarding School Symposium

This symposium provided a space for generative conversations on what we know about Native American boarding schools and what that knowledge means. It exploried the 20th-century history of North American Indian boarding schools through speaking events, workshops, and a film viewing.
