Tyler Kalian

Builder of homes, apartments and mixed-use projects throughout New Jersey

Tyler Kalian has worked with Toll Brothers and K. Hovnanian before joining Kalian Development. He focused on high rise developments with condominium, retail and rental apartments. Kalian worked on projects totaling over 1,000 units throughout Hoboken, Jersey City, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. He completed his master’s degree in real estate at NYU with a focus on development.

Michael Sommer joined Kushner as executive vice president for development and construction in 2021. He brings 25+ years of mixed-use, retail, multi-family and office development experience. Kushner, a multi-generational real estate and development company focuses of all aspects of real estate across the country. Locally, they are currently building and leasing Monmouth Square, the former Monmouth Mall in Eatontown, New Jersey, and their most recent Livonia development in Colt’s Neck.
