PROFILE: Victoria joined Monmouth University in June 2005, after spending much time on campus cheering for the Monmouth Hawks football team, for whom her husband, Andy Bobik, has served as defensive coordinator since 1996. Victoria spent her first ten years in England before moving to the U.S. with her parents and brother. She enjoys being with her amazing little girl, and enjoys visiting her family in the U.K. as much as possible.

PROFILE: A native of Monmouth County, Patrick joined the Office of Undergraduate Admission in July of 2005 with almost five years of experience in higher education. An avid sports fan, it is difficult to find a sporting event that won’t capture his attention. Patrick also enjoys taking advantage of Monmouth University’s proximity to the beach, where you will find him fishing or enjoying a sunny day.

PROFILE: Danielle joined Monmouth University in December 2007, after doing investor relations work in the precious metals and mining industry. However that was not the first time Danielle has worked for an admissions office, as she was a college tour guide back in the day (go student ambassadors!). She loves to travel and feels blessed to have participated in mission trips to Mexico, China, and the Czech Republic, as well as Hurricane Katrina Relief in New Orleans. In her free time, you can find Danielle spending time with friends and family, playing with her two beautiful kids, or doing a home DIY project!

PROFILE: Emma was raised in Long Branch, NJ. She graduated from Monmouth in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. At Monmouth, Emma joined Zeta Tau Alpha. She is an active member of her community and enjoys paint balling, fishing, and biking with her son.

PROFILE: Liz joined the Office of Undergraduate Admission in February of 2018 with almost seven years of experience working in higher education. She is proud to be a part of the Monmouth University community, and is glad to be back in her home state of New Jersey, after spending over 13 years as a Philadelphia, PA resident. In her spare time, she enjoys playing piano, watching football and spending time on the beach with her husband and dog.

PROFILE: Jess joined the Graduate Admission team in 2014 and now works in the Office of Undergraduate Admission. During her undergraduate career, she served as a Student Ambassador and as a graduate student, a Junior Admission Counselor. In her free time, Jess enjoys reading, snowboarding, and spending time with friends and family.

PROFILE: Jesse graduated from the University of Delaware in 2016 with her Bachelors of Science degree in Human Services. During her time as an undergraduate, she was heavily involved with the Office of Admissions, UD Alternative Breaks, and her sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha. Originally an Engineering Major, Jesse found that her true passions lie in college admissions and working with High School students through her work as an undergrad. She enjoys the beach, coffee, finding new ice cream shops, and hot yoga classes.

PROFILE:A native of Massachusetts, Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education with a minor in Psychology from Westfield State University in 1989. In 1999, she received her Master of Education degree from Anna Maria College. Rebecca worked in public school education as a special education teacher, special services coordinator and administrator for 25 years. After moving to NJ, Rebecca was hired at Monmouth University as an adjunct professor in the School of Education and worked as a Clinical Supervisor. In 2014, she joined the Undergraduate Admission team. Rebecca enjoys watching college football (especially MU Hawks!), loves walks on the beach, reading, skiing, and spending time with her family.

PROFILE: Michael graduated from Monmouth with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2016. He was heavily involved on campus working as a New Student Orientation Leader, Resident Assistant, and Student Government senator. Michael is an avid writer focusing on screenwriting and creative fiction. He also loves indie/rock music the likes of Jimmy Eat World, The Gaslight Anthem, Sufjan Stevens, and Bon Iver.

PROFILE: Laura received her Bachelors of Art from Gettysburg College and her Master’s Degree in College Student Affairs from Rutgers University. With over four years of experience working beside college-aged students, Laura is thrilled to join the Admissions team at Monmouth University. She is excited to have the chance to motivate high school students about college the same way that her admissions counselor did for her. RESPONSIBLE FOR: Organizing and managing the travel schedules and expense records of undergraduate admission. Processing housing and parking forms and deposits. Assisting the visitation coordinator with tours and group visits.

PROFILE: After graduating in 1975 from Monmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in medical technology, Debbie worked at Jersey Shore Medical Center, and along with her husband (Monmouth Class of ’83!), raised two daughters. Following her love of Disney, she also worked for the Walt Disney Company as a store manager at The Disney Store. She brought her skills of customer service to her present job working with prospective students and families. Debbie feels being on staff here has been a rewarding way of promoting the school from which she learned, using her own knowledge and life experiences to help others achieve their goals.

Profile: Laurie joined Monmouth University as an admissions counselor in 1999. Before her career in higher education, she worked as an administrator in hospitals and health care organizations. She grew up in New York but has lived in Monmouth County for many years.

During her undergraduate and graduate career at Monmouth she was a graduate assistant, junior counselor, and student ambassador for the Undergraduate Admission Office. In her free time, Lucia enjoys traveling abroad with her husband Nick, who is also a Monmouth alum, playing with their French Bulldog, and watching movies.
