Located in the southern Italian city of Sorrento, Sant’Anna Institute places students steps from the city center. Classrooms and residence halls are housed in a historic building sitting on cliffs, overlooking the fishing village of Marina Grande. The small, intimate nature of this program allows students to fully immerse themselves in Italian life and culture.
Students can enroll in courses across language, art, archaeology, literature, social studies, business, natural sciences, and liberal arts, while incorporating language development and cultural immersion inside and outside the classroom.
Sant’Anna Institute offers a wide range of disciplines from Italian studies to social and natural sciences, from classical studies to business and management, from arts and humanities to health sciences. Students typically take 12 to 15 credits and are encouraged to take at least one Italian course (all levels available), with all other courses taught in English. Internship programs are also available for credits.
