When it comes to defining Monmouth University’s off-campus and commuter student population, it is important to recognize the idea that one size does not fit all. Commuter students are a unique and diverse population that include traditional and non-traditional aged students; full and part-time students; graduate, undergraduate and non-matriculating students; as well as students commuting from home, transfer students and/or students who are sharing an off-campus rental. The same may be said for our students who make the decision to live off-campus in the communities that surround Monmouth University.
Whether you live at home or live off-campus, I encourage you to take some time to explore the information found on the Office of Off-Campus and Commuter Services (OCCS) web site. If you are unable to find an answer to your question online, please feel free to contact OCCS by phone at 732-263-5651, or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Students are also encouraged to visit the office, which is located in room 202-D on the 2nd floor of the Rebecca Stafford Student Center, Monday through Friday, 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
