    The Institute for Global Understanding (IGU) and the Center for the Arts at Monmouth University invite you to our second Pearson’s World Cinema Series movie and discussion event of the spring semester on Thursday, March 26th, at 6:05 PM in the Pozycki Auditorium. We will screen the movie Green Border (2023) directed by Agneiszka Holland, followed by a post-screening Q&A session hosted by Dr. Frank Fury with Prof. William Gorman as discussant.     A film by Nadine Labaki about faith, hope and love. In a remote Lebanese Village women band together and cleverly scheme to prevent their men from killing each other. This comedy drama, with a mix of musical numbers, portrays Muslim and Christian women of a remote mountain community outside Beirut as the leaders keeping their warring Christian and Muslim husbands from engaging in a civil war as tensions in Lebanon mount.

  • Exhibition on Screen – Cézanne: Portraits of a Life
