The Department of Sociology and the Sociology Club work together to organize events on and off campus.
The department has organized and co-sponsored past events outside to get students engaged outside of regular classes. Past events have included
- Monmouth University Student Organizing Clinic (with Psychology and Social Work)
- Pizza and Processing Conversations about current events.
- Stratified Streets (trips to museums and historic sites in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Seneca Falls, New York)
