Employees: Rapid Home Antigen Tests: Submitting Positive Results

On behalf of the Crisis Management Team please see below for clarification regarding at home rapid antigen testing.

At home rapid antigen tests are now more available and accessible to people in the community.
This is an alternative for persons who are at home, not feeling well and travel to campus or a local health agency is not feasible.

If you have COVID symptoms and test positive with a home rapid antigen test, you must report your positive finding to health@monmouth.edu.

Guidelines for submitting a POSITIVE home rapid antigen test:

  • Take a picture of the positive result.
  • Place Employee ID in the picture.
  • Date and time stamp the picture
  • Send the image to health@monmouth.edu

Rapid home testing does not replace the more sensitive, on-campus PCR surveillance testing for those required to do so.

As a reminder, both rapid antigen and PCR testing are available to you on campus at no cost.  If you are symptomatic, go to the Health Center where both types of testing can be conducted.  If you are a close contact and do not have symptoms, go to the Testing Center located at Magill Commons for PCR testing.

Thank you for your cooperation with this process!
