Jailer

Our Jailers provide jail security through care, custody, and control of inmates; they prepare paperwork, forms, booking information, and reports; and they maintain public security and confidence in dealing with the public either in person or by phone.

Full-time positions include the following:

  • 12 hour shifts which allow for more time off of work
  • Every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off
  • Starting wage of $26.63 hourly

Qualifications: No felony convictions, good verbal and written communications, ability to react quickly and effectively to stressful situations, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
