As a Human Resources Specialist, you will:

  • Provide the full spectrum of management advisory services to highly complex and dynamic organizations and independently resolve difficult issues/problems requiring consideration of the total HR management program.
  • Apply expert technical skill in the interpretation of laws, regulations, orders, and decisions to provide accurate, sound, and authoritative opinions.
  • Plan and execute recruitment programs and develops innovative recruitment approaches and strategies to identify highly qualified candidates for professional, specialized, and technical occupations.
  • Advise specialists, managers, and supervisors on recruitment methods and practices, employment mechanisms, recruitment strategies, sources, alternatives, appointing authorities, compensation, and incentives.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and conduct special projects/reviews supporting HR and Human Capital strategic initiatives, programs, and objectives.
  • Review sensitive challenges and issues critical to overall HR program improvement, requirements, and operations and recommends resolutions to difficult HR problems. Contributes to developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) supporting human capital goals, strategic recruitment activities, and organizational program objectives.
