Student Enrichment & Engagement thru Mentoring Activities (SEEMA)
Mentoring of Leon Hess Business School students is central to the LH Business Council mission. Nearly all of the membership participates in the SEEMA program and are the backbone of mentorship resources. Select Business Council members serve on the SEEMA Steering Committee to insure continuous improvement and ongoing relevance of the program.
Student-Led Organizations & Clubs
The Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society Chapter recruits the top 10% of business students and admits them into a network of like-minded, driven individuals that last a lifetime. The Business Council supports this group both financially and with experience and resources to complete their mission.
Monmouth’s enactus is an internationally recognized, student-run experiential learning platform. ENACTUS acts as Leon Hess Business School’s (LHBS) liaison for sustainable development initiatives, enhancing the School’s commitment for developing entrepreneurial leaders and social innovators. The Business Council Supports enactus both financially and through participation in leadership.
The Future Business Leaders (FBL) Club provides students with various opportunities to develop one’s network, communication skills, and application of business principles. While they participate in both local and international events, the central theme of what they do is founded in building connections with internal and external business professionals across different industries.
