Executive Mentoring Program
Mentoring of Leon Hess Business School students is central to the LH Business Council mission. Nearly all of the membership participates in the Executive Mentoring Program (EMP) and are the backbone of mentorship resources. Select Business Council members serve on the EMP Steering Committee to insure continuous improvement and ongoing relevance of the program.
Student-Led Organizations & Clubs

The American Marketing Association (AMA) at Monmouth University is a student-run organization focused on developing future marketing professionals through hands-on experience, networking, and industry engagement. As a leading organization within the Leon Hess Business School, AMA offers members opportunities to connect with industry experts, attend conferences, and gain real-world marketing insights.
Through speaker events, workshops, and collaborative initiatives, AMA fosters professional growth, leadership development, and meaningful connections with professionals across industries. The Business Council supports AMA through funding and mentorship, enhancing opportunities for student success.

The Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society Chapter recruits the top 10% of business students and admits them into a network of like-minded, driven individuals that last a lifetime. The Business Council supports this group both financially and with experience and resources to complete their mission.

Monmouth’s enactus is an internationally recognized, student-run experiential learning platform. ENACTUS acts as Leon Hess Business School’s (LHBS) liaison for sustainable development initiatives, enhancing the School’s commitment for developing entrepreneurial leaders and social innovators. The Business Council Supports enactus both financially and through participation in leadership.

The Future Business Leaders (FBL) Club provides students with various opportunities to develop one’s network, communication skills, and application of business principles. While they participate in both local and international events, the central theme of what they do is founded in building connections with internal and external business professionals across different industries.

The Monmouth Finance Society is a student-led organization open to all majors, offering free events that introduce students to diverse fields within finance and economics. Through workshops, networking, and competitions, members connect with professionals from firms such as JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Apollo Global Management, and Wells Fargo, helping them build skills and explore career paths.
