By combining the interdisciplinary knowledge of four subject matters (English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies), Elementary Education, and Teacher of Student with Disabilities endorsements with the English as a Second Language graduate program, you will gain an advantage in the job market while developing the comprehensive interdisciplinary and STEM-focused knowledge necessary for successfully elementary teaching, including special education, and ESL students.
Education majors may take ED-606, EDL-515, ED-583, ED-584, or courses with advisor approval
The time to completion varies depending upon when a student begins the program and how many credits are taken each semester. Based on full-time study (nine credits) in the fall and spring semesters only, the program length is two years.
However, as part of Bachelor’s + Master’s, this graduate program may be completed in one year, full-time, including summer courses.
Students must be an education major as an undergraduate.
