By combining the skills of Communication and Anthropology, you will be prepared to have a rewarding career in a variety of fields, including cultural resource management; county, state, and local government agencies; educational institutions; and non-profit organizations.
AN-501, AN-502, and AN-503 may be taken during junior/senior year. Other courses may be taken with instructor permission.
The time to completion varies depending upon when a student begins the program and how many credits are taken each semester. Based on full-time study (nine credits) in the fall and spring semesters only, the program length is two years.
However, as part of the Bachelor’s + Master’s, students completing a library thesis and taking nine credits as a junior or senior can complete the graduate program in three semesters, including summer courses. Students completing a research thesis and taking nine credits as a junior or senior can complete the program in four semesters including summer courses.
No formal pre-requisites, but evidence of success in undergraduate social science courses is a good indicator of potential success in the graduate program.
