The Leadership Excellence Award recognizes the interdependent relationship between Monmouth University and the real estate industry. The award is conferred annually upon an outstanding individual for his or her distinctive contributions to the state of New Jersey and the nation through a career in real estate. Recipients are either residents of New Jersey or those who regard New Jersey as an important locus of their corporate identity.

Past Honorees

The main goal of the Institute is to provide quality, value added real estate education on the graduate, undergraduate, and certificate level. Your contribution will help to defray tuition costs in the form of scholarship monies made available to students pursuing real estate education in any of the aforementioned categories.

Since its creation in 1993, the Kislak Real Estate Institute of Monmouth University has endeavored to meet the practical and professional needs of the increasingly sophisticated real estate community in New Jersey and the metropolitan region. Through its executive education course offerings, including a five-course certificate program and various symposia, current and prospective issues are identified and analyzed. Since the fall of 2004, graduate real estate courses have been offered in the Monmouth University MBA Program’s real estate track, thus becoming the first academic program of its kind in the state of New Jersey. Additionally, the Institute’s Certificate Program found its way to northern New Jersey as courses were offered in Saddle Brook as part of a pilot program cosponsored with CB Richard Ellis. We currently have a robust core of new students enrolled in the University’s new academic undergraduate program in real estate. The Institute serves as a resource to both the public and private sectors and is dedicated to continuing its role as the leader in real estate education, research, and services.

As we celebrate our 20th Leadership Excellence Award reception we look back at the past decade as testimony to the vision, dedication, and support that the real estate community has provided to the Real Estate Institute. We gratefully acknowledge your efforts and thank you for your commitment to Monmouth University.
