Our goal is to expand on our recycling efforts in the following ways:
- Educate on the proper way to recycle via attention-grabbing graphic posters at recycle bin locations.
- Update bins around campus to create a clear distinction between waste and recycle bins.
Monmouth University: A Recycling Leader
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection recognized Monmouth University as an institutional leader for its broad-based program that resulted in recycling 46% of the waste generated on campus in 2018.
