Willow Publishes on Agentic AI

Charles Willow, Ph.D., associate professor in the Leon Hess Business School, recently published an article examining artificial intelligence applications, continuing his research series on the distinctions and uses of emerging AI technologies.

In “Artificial Intelligence Agents and Agentic Artificial Intelligence: A Clarification and Comparative Analysis” (Journal of Technology Research, Vol. 14, 2026), Willow examines the differences between traditional artificial intelligence agents (AIA) and agentic artificial intelligence (AAI). The study addresses the ambiguity surrounding these terms in academic and industry settings and seeks to clarify their respective concepts, capabilities, and applications.

The publication follows Willow’s earlier research, “Inflation Predictor Model Using Artificial Intelligence and Deep Machine Learning,” which explored the use of specialized AI models to predict inflation and address potential biases in generative AI tools.

Willow is continuing his research into AI applications, with forthcoming studies focused on physical artificial intelligence (PAI) and artificial general intelligence (AGI).
