The Office of Planned Giving will host an estate planning seminar on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. in the Wilson Hall Versailles Room. Rick Shaughnessy ’04, a financial advisor with Intellectual Capital Group, will present “The Family Love Letter,” which will provide a helpful framework for sharing important information with loved ones in the event of incapacity or death.
Shaughnessy’s planning tool is intended to help individuals considering their own estate plans, as well as family members facing the realities of aging loved ones. Topics will include legacy, legal, and financial planning to help provide clarity and reduce confusion after the loss of a family member.
