To help get in the mood for the upcoming winter holidays, Monmouth University’s Department of Music & Theatre Arts will present its annual holiday concert, “Season’s Greetings” on Thursday, December 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the festively decorated grand staircase of historic Wilson Hall. Under the direction of Professor Michael Gillette and Dr. David M. Tripold, holiday music and poetry will be performed by Monmouth University choirs, chamber orchestra, and soloists.
Songs of the season will include “Fum, Fum, Fum,” “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” “Jingle Bells,” “Carol of the Bells,” and variations on “Deck The Hall.” A special rare rendition of a Ladino Hanukah song, “Ocho Kandelikas,” will also be performed.
A special guest performance by the Colts Neck Reformed Church Exultation Ringers will be filling the hall with bell sounds of the season.
A limited number of tickets at $15 (general admission) are available by calling the Central Box Office at 732-263-6889 or visitingwww.monmouth.edu/arts. Some tickets will be available at the door.
