Monmouth University will host Matt Stutsman: The Inspirational Archer as part of a month-long celebration of Disability Awareness Month. The program will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 1 to 2:15 p.m. in the Rebecca Stafford Student Center, Anacon B. The event is free and open to the public.
Matt Stutzman just returned from the 2012 Paralympics with a silver medal in Archery. He was born without arms in 1982 and put up for adoption in 1983. He lives in an un-adapted world without prosthetic arms and can do anything with his feet, from eating to changing a car’s brakes.
