The Class of 2026 concluded its commencement season with the 2026 Summer Commencement ceremony held on campus in Pollak Theatre on Aug. 24. More than 130 undergraduate and graduate students from each academic school across the University received their degrees in the ceremony presided over by President Patrick F. Leahy.
Associate Professor of History and Anthropology Melissa A. Brzycki, Ph.D., was this year’s Distinguished Teacher Award recipient. Her message to the Class of 2026 encouraged graduates to carry forward the knowledge, resilience, compassion, and relationships they developed at Monmouth.
