Delayed Opening – Feb. 25, 2026

Monmouth University will operate on a delayed opening schedule tomorrow, February 25, 2026. The University will open at 10:00 a.m., and classes will begin at 10:05 a.m. All classes that start before 10 am are cancelled.

Employee Reporting Information

  • Facilities Management personnel should report at their regularly scheduled time.
  • Essential personnel should report as directed by their supervisor.

Weather Closing Feb. 24, 2026

Monmouth University offices will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 24. All classes will be conducted remotely. In-person activities are cancelled. Essential personnel must report as directed by their supervisors. The dining hall will be open from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., and the C-Store and Fitness Center will be closed.

Hawk Safety Alert 2018-01

On Friday, October 19, 2018 at approximately 5:00 p.m. a female student was inappropriately touched by a black male as she attempted to enter Bey Hall. The suspect is described as being tall, over six feet, with a slim build, wearing a grey sweatshirt (with a Nike logo on the chest) and dark colored pants. The suspect then fled west toward Lot 14.

The incident(s) is being investigated by the Monmouth University Police Department. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the University Police at 732-571-4444 or from any campus phone at extension 4444.

The University Police would also like to remind everyone that an on campus safety escort service is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please contact the University Police to request one.

Request for additional information in reference to Hawk Alert 2018-1

The Monmouth University Police Department is requesting your assistance in identifying a suspect who inappropriately touched a female student on Friday, October 19, 2018 at approximately 5:30 p.m. as she attempted to enter Bey Hall.  The victim described the suspect as a black male, over six feet tall, with a slim build.  He was wearing a gray sweatshirt, with a Nike logo on the chest, and dark colored pants.  The suspect fled by foot west toward parking lot 14.
