Dear Monmouth University Community:
On February 24, 2022, the Monmouth University Police Department was made aware of an incident that occurred in Pozycki Hall second floor about 7:14 p.m. regarding a suspicious male peeking over the top of an occupied bathroom stall in the Ladies Rest Room. As a result of this information we wanted to make you aware of the following.
A white male, dark hair, 5’5” to 5’7” tall, last seen wearing blue Nike sneakers, a black back pack and possibly a black mask under the chin. Subject is also described as of student age. Monmouth University student contacted the Police Department to report the actions of this individual. This individual was last seen running out the back door of Pozycki Hall towards the Student Center. No contact or threats were made toward the caller.
In an attempt to locate the subject, Monmouth University Police officers and safety officers searched the area but the subject was not found. There is no immediate threat to the campus nor any indication that the subject has returned to the Academic Buildings on campus.
