The Henni Kantor Kessler & John H. Kessler Stadium serves as the home field for Monmouth’s football, lacrosse, and track & field programs. This $16-million sports ground offers seating for up to 4,200 patrons and includes a full-concourse with concession stands. History
Monmouth’s prior home field, Kessler Field, bore a similar name to this location. Both stadium and field memorialized substantial donations from former University trustee Henni Kessler ’68 and trustee emeritus John Kessler ’69. Throughout the school’s history, the couple contributed to Monmouth both financially and athletically—Henni led the school’s cheerleading team as captain, while John played for the baseball team. The Hawks played on Kessler Field from Sept. 1993 until Oct. 2016.
