Please join us for an informal gallery talk with exhibiting artist Bruce Dorfman and Ira Goldberg, Executive Director of the Art Students League of New York.  The discussion will offer visitors the opportunity to ask questions, and hear stories about the artists life, work, and experiences working as a professional artist in NYC.  In addition, Mr. Goldberg's long association with Mr. Dorfman will add addition insight into the artists work and history.

Bruce Dorfman has had fifty-three solo exhibitions throughout the United States and abroad. His work has been presented in numerous museum and university collections and gallery group exhibitions worldwide, including currently "Ways and Means: A New Look at Process in Art", July 18 – October 7, 2016 at UBS Art Gallery, NYC; June Kelly Gallery, NYC and "Making / Breaking Traditions: The Teachers of Ai Weiwei", Art Students League, NYC (2014). Lecture: September 23, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in Wilson Hall Auditorium.
Opening reception: Fri. September. 23, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Taylor Hope Bernosky, Music Performance and Math Major, will be performing her Senior Recital at Rechnitz Hall on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 3:00pm. She will be featured on violin. Admission is free; light refreshments will be served.

New Jersey State Council on the Arts Visual Arts Fellowship Showcase

This exhibit showcases the work of 2014-2015 New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship winners in sculpture, crafts and photography. Fellowships are highly competitive awards to New Jersey artists in 12 different disciplines, based solely on artistic quality, and designed to help artists produce new work and advance their careers.

The Visual Arts Fellowship Showcase is a cosponsored program between the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the Monmouth University Center for the Arts.

Bruce Springsteen: A Photographic Journey

Bruce Springsteen: A Photographic Journey, a traveling photography exhibition curated by the GRAMMY Museum Los Angeles, features 45 iconic images. The opening reception on September 27 from 1-4 PM will include a Q&A with the photographers moderated by Grammy Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli at 2:30 PM.
