Dr. Lavetta Ross is currently an assistant principal in the Freehold Regional High School District. Prior to her current position, Dr. Ross served as district supervisor of language arts and social studies in the Perth Amboy School District where she focused on improving curriculum, instruction, and assessments. While completing her doctorate at Seton Hall University, she was inducted into the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society. Most recently, Dr. Ross was selected to present her dissertation at the American Education Research Association (AERA) annual meeting. Her article. “The Influence of the Student Mobility Rate on the Graduation Rate in the State of New Jersey,” was published in the fall 2016 edition of AASA Journal of Scholarship & Practice.
