Professor Paskewich has practiced yoga for 15 years and is a Certified Yoga Teacher. As a Health Educator, Barbara is interested in the science of yoga and incorporates evidenced-based practice into her yoga classes.

Barbara led the School of Nursing in the development of The Center for Professional Development in Nursing and Health and in obtaining the designation of approved provider of continuing nursing education through the New Jersey State Nurses Association. As Nurse Planner, She is responsible for the oversight and planning of continuing education activities and operations of the Center for Professional Development in Nursing and Health. Professor Paskewich has taught Yoga, Health in Developing Countries, Principles of Health Education, Strategies for Healthy Living, Factors Affecting Healthcare, Education and Motivation of the Nursing Client, and Health Communication. She is involved with the administration of grants for both scholarship and educational programming.
