Internal Scholarships
- The Dr. Kenneth E. and Ilamae R. Knapp Scholarships recognize outstanding students in the communication department who demonstrate excellence in oral performance, leadership in and beyond the classroom, and significant academic achievement.
- The Richard Corliss Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in communication with an emphasis on film.
- The Raymond Michelli Sports Scholarship Award is given to a Department of Communication major with an interest in sports announcing.

- Broadcast Education Association Scholarships offers scholarship for students pursuing electronic media and radio jobs and educational opportunities.
- New Jersey Broadcasters Association offers six scholarship opportunities for students majoring in media studies and broadcasting.
- New York Market Radio Scholarship Fund provides assistance for the education of students pursuing a career in radio.

- NSA scholarships for junior, senior, or master’s level college students with demonstrated abilities in public speaking and giving back to communities where they attend class, work, and live.
- The Jack and Jill Foundation’s Jacqueline Moore Bowles Scholarship for two full-time junior or senior level communication majors who are African American.

- AIGA Worldstudio Scholarships: scholarships awarded for visual communication and design.
- Support Creativity Scholarships: undergraduate and graduate awards for majors that include graphic design, illustration, motion graphics, videography, or web design.
