Tomorrow’s Children is looking for an ambitious Youth Care Worker, with the drive and experience to make a difference in the lives of the children we serve. Tomorrow’s Children Inc is a Non Profit Residential Treatment Facility that provides treatment for children with emotional and behavior problems. We work with these children in a homelike environment teaching them daily living skills, proper social skills, appropriate behavior on a daily basis.
Join our team to make a difference in a child’s life and gain valuable experience in the Social Services field.
Supervise and interact with 6 to 7 children with emotional and/or behavioral problems in a home-like environment
Perform household responsibilities to include meals, general cleaning and minor maintenance necessary to keep children safe
Engage and positively interact with children on a daily basis
Teach and assist with activities of daily living
Develop and run behavioral programming
Accurately record data and update records
Teach proper social skills
Assist in academic programming and supervision during school hours and complete requirements of teacher’s aide license
Participate in sports activities with the children
