  • Support academic success by helping students develop time management, study, and organizational skills
  • Encourage and assist with FAFSA completion, college applications, and scholarship research
  • Collaborate with high school and college staff to embed college-readiness strategies into the classroom
  • Connect students to campus and community resources, including TRIO, mental health services, and tutoring
  • Promote self-esteem, leadership, and cultural engagement through student involvement
  • Identify and intervene with students at risk of probation or dropping out in collaboration with other departments
  • Support and attend campus events, family nights, and service-learning opportunities
  • Assist with data collection, program evaluation, and impact reporting

  • Professional email and phone etiquette
  • Organizational, mentoring, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for student success
  • Cultural awareness and willingness to support diverse student populations

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Are:

  • Passionate about educational equity and college access
  • A strong communicator who builds trust and rapport with students
