Lead and provide support on several policy and programmatic innovation and process efficiency improvement projects and undertakings. 

Primary duties include:

  • Researching other State audit shops and audits of local governments/schools and critical infrastructure to create a benchmarking resource and then, summarize key/significant information in concise executive summary format from that research (e.g., AI/cyber audits)
  • Interviewing LGSA staff and reviewing LGSA/OSC policies and procedures to document process flow charts for various LGSA administrative and programmatic operations and workflows.
  • Researching and assessing the potential for AI use cases in LGSA, based on understanding gained from creating process flows. Draft written concise executive summary to present the potential use cases.
  • Researching and assessing the potential for wider SharePoint use for LGSA collaboration and informational purposes. Design or assist in the design of new SharePoint sites.

There is potential to extend the internship into the fall semester.
