In this role, you’ll provide individualized speech therapy services to adults with complex needs, addressing challenges related to speech, language, voice, communication, and swallowing. With up to 20 hours per week during daytime hours, this opportunity can be a great fit for an SLP looking to maintain flexibility while continuing to make a difference.
About the Role
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll evaluate individuals, develop personalized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with physicians, clinical professionals, caregivers, and families to help each individual reach their highest level of functioning.
What You’ll Do
- Assess speech, language, articulation, voice, fluency, communication, and swallowing needs.
- Review medical histories and conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine appropriate therapy services.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans based on each person’s needs and goals.
- Identify appropriate therapeutic interventions and modify treatment strategies based on progress and clinical findings.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical leadership, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Review relevant medical and clinical information to evaluate the effectiveness of therapy and maximize rehabilitation potential.
- Educate individuals, family members, and caregivers on techniques and strategies that support continued progress.
- Complete comprehensive evaluation reports, including assessments performed, results, clinical findings, and diagnoses.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatments, interventions, progress, and changes in condition.
- Communicate relevant clinical information to physicians and other members of the care team to promote continuity of care.
- Maintain appropriate HIPAA compliance, confidentiality, and patient safety standards.
- Address client concerns or complaints appropriately and in accordance with organizational procedures.
- Perform other related duties as needed.

We’re seeking an SLP who is compassionate, clinically confident, collaborative, and passionate about helping adults improve their communication and functional abilities.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Therapy, or a related discipline
- At least one year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist/Speech Therapist
- Current state Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or certification
- Strong evaluation, treatment planning, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to travel as needed
