Responsibilities

Perform new product and/or application software design and development as well as maintenance activities for products and/or applications
Develop and optimize backend services using programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and PHP, integrating RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
AG / Retrieval Systems – Build RAG pipelines.
LLM APIs & Tooling -Build production systems on top of LLM APIs.
Vector Databases -Work with Quadrant, Chroma, or similar db. Develop embedding-based retrieval architecture and indexing strategies.
AI Orchestration- Work on Lang Chain or similar frameworks for multi-step AI workflows. Chaining, tool use, and prompt management at scale.
AI Agents & Automation-Build AI agents and/or workflow automations beyond simple chat interfaces. Multi-step reasoning, tool integration, autonomous task execution.
LLM Governance-Build AI governance – logging, monitoring, cost controls, and responsible AI practices in enterprise settings.
Apply design patterns and best practices in software development to improve code quality, performance, and security.
Participate actively in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools similar to GitHub, SVN, and Jenkins.
Ensure compliance with security protocols such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and implement scalable database solutions.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
Excellent academics
Demonstrated knowledge, education, experience and/or training necessary to develop basic software
Proven experience in software development with a strong understanding of web development frameworks and front-end technologies.
Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts including cloud infrastructure microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and scalability principles.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, C++, or Ruby on Rails with experience in application development across different platforms.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and tools such as GitHub, SVN, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
Experience designing scalable systems using design patterns and system design principles for large-scale applications.
Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL or SQL Server along with experience in API development and integration.
Strong problem-solving skills complemented by excellent communication abilities; a passion for continuous learning in software engineering trends ML and AI.
