Ocean Health delivers clinical-grade, on-site IV wellness — hydration, vitamins, and nutrient therapy — for corporate functions, conferences, retreats, sporting events, trade shows, and private gatherings. We’re physician-led, HIPAA-compliant, and licensed to operate in all 50 states. We’re looking for a creative freelancer to help us build a consistent, engaging social media presence.
Position Summary
Ocean Health is seeking a freelance Social Media Content Creator to design a batch of content on an as-needed basis — roughly once a month. You’ll create 10–20 polished posts using Canva and help map them out on a content calendar. This is a content-creation role only: our team handles posting, scheduling, and day-to-day account management, so you can focus purely on design and creative direction. This is a great fit for someone who’s organized, has a strong eye for clean, on-brand design, and wants flexible, project-based freelance work.
Key Responsibilities
- Design 10–20 social media posts per batch in Canva (graphics, captions, and short-form content) across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Help plan and organize a content calendar, mapping out post topics, themes, and suggested posting order for the team to follow
- Write engaging, on-brand captions that reflect Ocean Health’s voice and highlight our services, packages, and client testimonials
- Stay current on social media trends and bring fresh content ideas, formats, and visual concepts to each batch
- Coordinate with the Founder ahead of each engagement on upcoming events, promotions, or announcements to feature in content
- Deliver finished, ready-to-post content files to our team, who will handle scheduling, posting, and account management
Qualifications
- Proven experience creating social media content, ideally for a small business, wellness brand, or similar
- Strong working knowledge of Canva (templates, brand kits, video/reel creation)
- Comfortable planning content around a calendar/theme structure
- Strong writing skills and a good eye for clean, modern, on-brand design
- Reliable and able to turn around a full batch of content within an agreed timeframe
- Interest in wellness, health, fitness, or beauty content a plus
- Compensation & Schedule
- $15/hour, freelance/contract basis
- As-needed engagement, roughly once a month, to produce a batch of 10–20 posts
- Remote work, with brief check-ins with the Founder ahead of each engagement
