About Make It Cute
Make It Cute is a design-forward children’s brand creating beautiful, sustainable playhouses, creative toys, and decor for families. Our products are designed to bring imagination into everyday spaces while maintaining high standards for aesthetics, materials, and sustainability.
We are a fast-growing startup working with major retailers and partners, and we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented intern to support our product development and design team.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in product design, toy design, consumer products, or startup operations to gain hands-on experience inside a growing brand.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate product data across internal systems, line sheets, and development trackers
Enter and update product information across spreadsheets, decks, and internal platforms
Maintain and update line sheets, sample requests, and development schedules
Track and monitor the status of prototypes, samples, and production updates
Follow up on sample deliveries and flag delays to the team
Summarize factory comments and development feedback into organized visual decks
Communicate up-to-date information on prototype and sample status
Keep design boards updated with the most current product designs
Monitor development calendar deadlines and flag upcoming deliverables
Prepare weekly development status summaries
Assist with organizing product files, assets, and development documentation
Make simple file updates in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Requirements
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Experience with Canva or other presentation tools
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Highly detail oriented
Strong written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
Interest in product design, toy design, or consumer products
Experience organizing product files or development assets
Experience working with design presentations or product line sheets
Interest in startups or early-stage brands
