Position Overview

We are currently expanding our rehabilitation services and seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Pine Street Open Door location.

What You’ll Do

  • Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Monitor and document patient progress in the EHR
  • Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility, and safety
  • Maintain therapeutic equipment and ensure proper usage
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic care
  • Assist with insurance authorizations and accurate coding
  • Comply with CMS reporting standards, including MIPS
  • Uphold clinic policies and contribute to an inclusive care environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program
  • Current Oregon PTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in outpatient or community health settings preferred
  • Familiarity with FQHC operations is a plus
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality and cultural sensitivity
  • Must not be listed on any State or Federal exclusion lists

Physical Requirements & Accommodations

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Ability to assist with patient transfers and positioning
