Per Diem Audiologist (Flexible Scheduling)

Compensation: $36.05 – $54.08 per hour (Calculated from the $75,000–$112,500 base range). (Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.)

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential (Responsibilities)

  • Conduct hearing and balance evaluations for inpatients and outpatients
  • Assess, fit, and program advanced hearing assistive technologies
  • Manage diverse treatment plans from newborn screenings to geriatric rehabilitation
  • Generate clear, compliant, and timely electronic patient reports
  • Participate in peer problem-solving and hospital quality initiatives

What You Bring (Qualifications)

  • Education: Doctorate Degree (AuD) in Audiology OR current 4th-year extern
  • Licensure: Active NYS Audiologist License & NYS Hearing Aid Dealer Registration
  • Tech Skills: Proficiency with modern hearing aid fitting software and databases
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License for occasional travel between sites
  • Certifications:  Current BLS Certification (or obtained at time of hire)
