Our practice is growing, and we will soon be increasing the size of our clinic and expanding our school-based therapy program. To support this growth, we are adding new therapists to the team! As a full-time, Pediatric Physical Therapist at C-STARS, you must have a passion for school-based and clinic therapy. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Virginia Physical Therapy License
• A Cleared / Clean DOJ / FBI background check
• Prefer at least 3 years of experience working exclusively with a pediatric population, however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Participation in continuing education in pediatric therapy subjects as required by the Physical Therapy governing authority.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• May be required to work outside the traditional work schedule.
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Standing, repetitive movements, lifting weights of various amounts (not to exceed 50 lbs.), sitting on floor, bending/squatting, walking, driving, etc.
AGE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS PERTAINING TO PHYSICAL THERAPY CARE:
Provides care to the following age groups: Infant (30 days to 1 yr.), child (1-12 years), adolescent (13-21 years).
